WEll it is hard to belive that on Sept 12 of this year Jason and I will be married for 10 years. So this past weekend he asked what I wanted for our 10 year. I said maybe a night away from the kids. Nothing to fancy. lol He said how about we go to Gatlinburg TN. I said OK. We don't go many places so when Jason says something about going somewhere I better jump on it. So here is my question to the readers Has anyone gone there and also tell me some neat and cheap stuff to see also places to stay. I think we would like to stay in a cabion. There are a couple of places I know we want to go so just leave me a note so I can get some ideas. I don't think we are taking the kids.

I know that we already talked about this, but I forgot to mention how we found our cabin. www.vrbo.com They have vacation rentals all over the world. You can choose any options you want and get a pretty reasonable price usually. We have used this the last 4 times we have gone on a "big vacation". Hope you find something good :)
How fun! Definitely go without the girls.... you guys deserve a couple's only getaway after 10 years!!! :) We have been to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area twice. I can't recommend a place personally as we stayed in mom and dad's timeshare once and did Priceline at the Comfort Inn one other time (if you're looking for an inexpensive hotel vs a cabin though, Priceline is a great way to go!) However, our friends honeymooned in this cabin and loved it:

Also, if you're looking for a fun night out, go to the Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge! And.... make sure that you take some hikes in the Smoky Mountains National Park.... gorgeous!!! :)
